Halloweenie Part 1~ Kenlee's school party & parade!

My adorable puppy. She's a bit obsessed with dogs... in the latest American Girl catalog, she doesn't want any of the dolls, just the animals!

 With sweet friends!

Her precious class! Kenlee is on the bottom right. Her BFF, Isabella  aka "Isa" is on the top left.

Here she is with Brady. His mom was one of our best customer's when Josh's Mom had her UPS store. We were pregnant at the same time & I think it's neat our kids are in 4K together!
 Pumpkin Decorating!

Donuts!

More to come with my good looking cowboy!

Fun with friends!

I just found these on our computer of Logan & his buddies....

Bunch of cool dudes if you ask me :)

Our Weekend Fun!

We went to eat on Friday night as a family which was lovely :) Then we went to Walmart & I confessed that if I never had to go in there again, it would be ok with me. Target is so much nicer ~ Walmart was so dirty & there were some scary crazies in there!
Josh worked Saturday & the kids & I went to Oxford to see my parents & we had a wonderful day. Mom, Kenlee & I went to a little consignment boutique (I think it was La Chic Boutique?) & had the BEST time. We had so much fun ~ I think we were there for a couple hours. If you live near Anniston, you must check it out!!! It's on Noble Street. My new favorite! And a couple doors down @ a stained glass shop, this sits in the window....
It is real & I'm not a big fan of turtles, but the fact that there was thick glass in between us, I was ok. His shell was pretty amazing, I do have to say.
Logan & Papa played golf as we shopped :)
Kenlee got a few friend this weekend:
Meet Buster!
And then Josh & I had a date! We went to his salesman/friend's halloween party & had so much fun! We  stayed out late & went to the WAFFLE HOUSE after that! It was a great time!
Josh went as a hunter since that is his only wardrobe. :) and his friend was a one night stand. He was sooo funny! His wife was a pregnant nun  ~  there were some great costumes! One couple went as Titanic survivors & they looked so neat - kind of dead, with a dress & tux on, then white stuff in their hair like ice since it was cold & these bright orange life devices around their neck. Wish I would have gotten a picture! Anyway, we had a great time. I boogied a little & loved it.

Happy Halloweenie! Lots of pictures to come later from a Halloween parade & class party!

Baby Blues....

I know this is kind of silly to blog about, but it's my blog, and sometimes I am silly :)
Kenlee passed her eye exam at school which makes me happy! I am so thankful for her little baby blues & Biggy's baby hazel's :) As I've gotten older, it seems like it's harder to see little things. Here is Kenlee's little test!

Biggy could do a extra credit project for math & figure out the perimeter & all of that stuff I have forgotten. This is the beginning of what he is creating. I thought it was pretty cool.
I guess now when I tell him Kenlee is drama to the 2nd power when she is melting down, he'll know what I mean :)

Oh my. Someone just called to take my picture & do a little "about this crazy massage therapist" article in a Helena magazine tomorrow. Call in the glam squad. Thankfully, my Chaz Dean, Brittany, is going to fix my hair (hey, how often do I have a reason for my hair to look out of this world?) and if I only knew a make up artist, I would call her/him, too. Let me tell you, I'm not known for my hair care, my makeup, or my clothes. It's not LA or NYC, but it is my arena for massage & I need to be stylin' & profylin'!! Is that how you spell that?

Thank goodness I got my man-brows waxed today!

Our everyday

Things have been pretty calm this week since Fall Ball is over! I'm going to enjoy it until basketball begins!
Kenlee's feeling better, my Dad is meeting with the surgeon in a week or so to talk about having his gallbladder removed (pray with me, please!), and Josh's ankle is slowly shrinking. :) Lots of praises there!
I'm thankful my girl's funky cough has exited her throat. :)
Biggy's pretty happy baseball is over & hunting is about to begin :)
Happy Kid...see...

And it's almost Halloween! Do you believe it?! Because I sure don't!

I forgot to post this picture a while back...my Mom & Dad supply the birds & bunnies unlimited food in their neck of the golf course. I'm serious too, those animals don't stay away from their house. The bunnies have carrots to nibble on every day of the week & the birds are fat as can be. They may not even head south this winter because of the loot @ the Brown's house. Kenlee loves to "smear" the food out & my Sister got them some really cool pitches to store their feed in. Here she is displaying her "smear" ~

Oh, and I'm also thankful to not see my boy caged up anymore :)

That's all for now ~ have a wonderful Wednesday!

Divine Intervention...in more ways than one!

Please pray with me! My Dad is having a gallbladder function test this morning & I'm just praying for what ever he has to do for this will fix his discomfort & that he will be safe during all of the procedure & that the Dr. will be right on track to give him progress for feeling better! He is so private...he would NOT like me to put this on here, but I have to because I know my blog friends pray!
Speaking of more divine intervention...we ended up in the ER with Kenlee Saturday night @ 11:30 with a funky croupy cough that scared us to death. ( Praise God she is ok & getting MUCH better!) ~ but when we walked in a noticed a lady throwing up & Logan VERY STRONGLY DISLIKES throwing up or anyone doing it. It's his one MAJOR phobia. Well, Josh let Kenlee & I out & the boys went to park the car. When they walked in I told Logan to go sit in the area to the right of us so he wouldn't have to see the girl throw up (we had already woken him up from a major sleep!!) and so he did. 10 minutes later, by the grace of God, my best friend walked out of the doors from taking her sister-in-law there for a horrible asthma attack. She was an angel here on earth & took Logan home with her. Makes me want to cry typing it! I was so thankful he didn't have to stay & we were able to get Kenlee out of there within a couple hours, so that was a blessing. So thank you, my friend, CHERYL!!!!
After the ankle incident with Josh, Kenlee's croup episode & praying for my Dad's test today, my worry meter has exceeded its limit. I know this will all pass, I have to keep reminding myself of that!
Here are some pictures I took of Logan's last game to get my mind off of this crazy weekend!!!
Watching a game with a buddy.
Action shot!
 Love my Biggy boy!
I'm sure he was thinking of a game plan here!
 Watching!
This last one cracks me up. She was so ticked at me for taking pictures. HA!!!!
She smiled two seconds after this face, but this one takes the cake!

I love the weekends.

I love being with my family. Period. It makes my whole day.
Kenlee, Logan & I went to our favorite, Target, today to get a few supplies & goodies & Josh stayed home to rest his ankle. He had a major disaster happen @ work yesterday, and his ankle looks like this....
He said he doesn't like pictures of himself on the blog, but this isn't his face :) The foot on the left is all jacked up. It was so swollen yesterday that they couldn't tell if it was broken, so if it is less swollen on Monday, he has to go back & have it re-xrayed. It looks a little better today ~ he just can't walk good on it. We need some crutches. :) He refused pain meds & a shot, so we've been smearing my homeopathic anti-inflammatory on it & it seems to help. He did get an anti-inflammatory in pill form that he is taking, so hopefully that's helping too. He has a good attitude & we've had fun together at home this weekend, but I know my man is ready to hunt. He just reacts so negatively to pain meds, that he chooses not to take them. I hope he never has to have them. He passes out & throws up at the drop of a hat when anything funky is going on like a broken bone or blood taken.
I got my favorite smell in the mail! I bought this on Ebay...my mom got me the little one on the left a couple years ago in lotion form (a little sample) with her perfume and I found the shower gel on Ebay for way less expensive than buying it...so here it is!! YAY!!!! Can you tell my lotion is old? I will turn that tiny bottle inside out I love it so much for a little more lotion!! It has been everywhere with me for the past couple years! Now I can smell like that in the shower! YAY!

My handsome boy made all A's...so we are excited about that. Glad he did, because in the 6th grade, I'm not so sure his Mom & Dad did! HA!

Proud of you, Biggy. We love you more than life!!
Hope your weekend has been full of love & fun.

Brrrr!

Tonight, Kenlee & I are trying to be well & warm. She took an almost 4 hour nap this afternoon & ran a  fever.  She's had two bowls of chicken & rice soup & I'm trying to make her well! Her fever is gone right now. She's watching Benji & eating her 2 requested dill pickles. Not 1, but 2.
In the mean time, the Hudspeth boys are at the ball field freezing their pickles off & probably wishing they were home with us Hudspeth girls.
I dropped my phone & broke the top of it today. I have insurance on it, but I really don't wish to call A T & T & be on the phone with them tonight, so if my littlest love is miraculously better tomorrow, I will get that done. Don't you hate dealing with stuff like that? Not to mention the car light is still on (Boo) ~ but the good thing is the car & the phone still work, so no need in complaining :)

To top this post off, I'll give a few pics of my little loves & their pooch. Kenlee in my glasses cracks me up! Logan is smiling so big in his picture, he looks like he has conjunctivitis of the eye, but he doesn't :)
I love my little's.

FALL into place!

Well. First I have to tell you my day started off a little if-eee.
See that light on? That's not supposed to be there.
I've tightened the gas cap like Josh & my Dad told me, but that didn't send it away. So I'm going to hand this little issue to my husband when he arrives home. :)
It's FINALLY FALL!! It is fallish & 54 right now in Birmingham! I love it! I've got the windows open & it feels fabulous!
After a little work & a lunch with my bestie, I got my table setup in my new office today! YAY! The construction is almost complete, but I will be so happy to get in there completely & get it decorated & organized! I feel so good about this & I am thrilled about my new beginning in my business! I start there tomorrow, but not in my actual room. Once the new addition is complete, I will be all the way moved. This is such a blessing & I will not take it for granted! I am beyond excited to start fresh & spread the gift of massage!
Biggy has his next to last game tomorrow & Kenlee is always excited to go cheer his game on!
Here she is waiting for him in carpool the other day creating some new art...

Here's the ballplayer himself...
Here they are with cousin Katie @ Nana & Papa's ....
And here is a random picture of Kenlee wearing white after Labor Day! In FLOOD PANTS!!! HA!
Ok, they were supposed to be ankle pants, but they are still a little flood like. :) Still cute if you ask her Mother!
The excellent catcher up to bat....
 On first, ready to run!
So this turned out to be a little hodge podgy, but it's ok. That's how I roll :)
