Easter Pictures 2011~Part 1

I loved every part of this weekend ~ we had some wonderful family time starting on Thursday & ending on Sunday. We got to see all of our parents, mine, Noval & Duane, Judy, Eddie & even Noval's sweet parents, Paw Paw Shaw & his wife, Margaret. He married us 13 years ago & has been a solid rock reminder of how you work at a marriage - many times. And he baptized our babies! He is an AMAZING man of God & has the sweetest heart. Our hearts are full after being with him & Noval & that side of the family.
I took WAAAAY too many pictures, but I am so happy I did...I might even break this picture post up into two in case it's picture overload. :) My computer is tired this morning.

 Nana Noval & Duane brought his granddaughter, Olivia, - she & Kenlee hammed it up. The 2nd post will be some really cute pictures of these two little diva's!

 I love this picture of Kenlee & Logan. Paw Paw Shaw has wonderful land near Alexander City & they have the best time exploring.

I loved every minute together. It seemed like we burned up the roads travelling, but that was ok because it was a wonderful weekend. I hope you had a wonderful Easter!

A funky Sky....

 This was the view last Friday when we opened our back door. I loved the look of this funky sky!
I don't really get "scared" ~ I pray for my family & our safety, but I love the feeling of all of us under one roof getting cozy & being together to prepare for God's work. I don't love the damage, death & destruction we see on TV, but isn't a storm amazing?

 We snuggled up in the guest bathroom...Logan decided to play a math game ~ Josh watched the news to let us know what was happening (Barkley watched with him) ~ and Kenlee & I .... well.....

 She got pajama bottoms on, grabbed the pringles & a movie & I snuggled up next to her on a beanbag. :)

Her school is focusing on Easter, the Resurrection & the true meaning, but they are also letting them know about earth day...recycling, how grains are grown, and all of the things we need to do to take care of God's Earth. I loved this necklace she got to make at school!

Sunshine in between the Rain...

I took some cute pictures of the kids during the storms that I will post once I download them...but we had a chance to go to the park a couple of days in between storms & I took what I thought were some cute pictures. Some days these two get along great & no arguing...other days, well, we just won't post about those. :) We also won't post about Kenlee hiding her vitamins, tuna omega 3 & calcium in her play kitchen just a little while ago...or the way she cut the Velcro off of her shoes to make them more fashionable this afternoon.

 Logan LOVES the tire swing below...he loves to get dizzy :)

 I almost wanted to throw up for him. :)

 And right after she had a bath & Logan had a shower...I found this on her Daddy's chair. :)

Quack, Quack....

We had a visitor in our neighborhood today. See him behind Biggy?

They asked us for bread, but we didn't have a chance to run in & get some because we didn't want to be late for school....

They got mad, and just took off down the street....

Kenlee should have gotten flowers at school instead of a shiner because a boy ran into her on the playground. She told us this was how she looked at him....

It was an accident!
But this wasn't....

Poor turkey was dinner tonight! It was DELISH!!! Gross, but oh so tasty!!

Josh killed him over the weekend & we put him to good use. Right now as I am typing this, I am baking a homemade turkey pot pie in the oven! Tonight we fried turkey fingers & they were so good!

Logan LOVED it!

Kenlee was wondering why he wasn't "talking" to her.
Biggy was SO HAPPY that his Daddy got us some dinner!! :) Turkey fingers inside biscuits for breakfast! Come on over!

Greetings from the Kitchen ...

 Makin' me happy! I fixed awful pork chops tonight & it didn't even matter we were having so much fun at our new table!! HA!

But then I got on the website & found some more treasures on my "want" + "just don't NEED" list....

 I would just love the little table above for our dining room turned into computer room :)

This next little piece I want because my sister had one similar growing up. Lovie....do you still have this? It is PRESH!

 And this...I love, not antique ~ but still....LOVE!

 And oh could I use this below to hide my Ebay sale items! And a beautiful mirror on top!

 This little beauty next to one of our sides of the bed!  I love the rug, too!!

Just goes to show...one man's trash is for sure another man's treasure.

How blessed we are that God would allow myself & Josh to be responsible for these two hazel & blue eyed babies?
I am so proud & overwhelmed today.

I have to treasure this artwork/school work forever because they grow up really fast. :)
