A little bit of everything for New Years Eve!

I love a New Year!!!
It makes me feel refreshed & renewed!
As long as we do the best we can & think towards positive, what more can we ask for!?
I've put together some of my favorite quotes & pictures for my final post of the year & I am excited to start another year of blogging!
Happy New Year, All!!!

I have learned a lot in 2012! Of who I want to be, what I don't want to be.
The character you are when no one is around is the most important lesson.
I want to be productive, positive, calm, not stressed out.
The biggest lesson I've learned this year is no sense in gossip, be kind to others, it's OK to go for your goals, and cleaning out the closet, pantry, and counter space is truly therapeutic!
I am in LOVE with my family, have made fabulous friendships this year & intend to be the best I can be in 2013! We owe it to ourselves to go for the GOLD! And I don't mean material!

Thankful for 2012!

Side Note: There is usually at least one picture a day exhanged by my sistor & I that looks like this upper & lower picture. And I LOVE it.
My Mom just found this. It was probably 1992. I was trying to make my lips a little fatter by lining them, but evidentially forgot to fill in the blanks. I know it didn't happen in 2012, but this is the year my Mom found it. :)

Happiest NEW YEAR from House of Hudspeth!!!!!

14 years ago! Katie Lee Howell

I will not forget my sistor's pregnancy. It began the year I got married.
She was born at 9 months gestation on January 2nd, 1999.
Jill's feet were swollen, she had an upper respiratory infection & she craved Wendy's Hamburger's with pickle & mustard. ONLY.
I got to be in the delivery room as she gave birth. I was 21, freshly married & scared to death.
This is probably too much information, but I don't EVER IN MY LIFE want to forget. I got to hold her leg as she pushed. Jill had to cough & I would raise her arm up in the air to open her lungs. I would accidentally drop her leg, but she couldn't feel it... she had an epidural. I can't tell you how many times I have laughed over that whole scenario. It scared the life out of me! But it was fun all at the same time! I would run out & give my parents updates & they couldn't believe how red my cheeks were! I was FULLY BLUSHED with high blood pressure, worrying about the safety of my sistor, watching my brother in law witness the whole birth. It CHANGED my life. Scared me to death, but it was really the coolest experience I can remember other than giving birth myself.
The first time Josh & I  babysat, I went upstairs at our townhouse & cried because she was crying so much. Jill brought over 24 ounces of breast milk, in which I fed her all three bottles in a row. I called my sistor crying that how could she leave me without very much milk!! ?? But really, she left me with PLENTY, I just had NO CLUE!!! Josh played with her downstairs until my sis & b-in-l came back. I was totally immature & clueless & selfish but I had NO IDEA! I was used to too much attention evidentially & all the sudden my little Myrtle ruled my world & I didn't know what to do with her~
Fast forward 14 years later & I can't believe one day soon she will have a car, go to college & be an ADULT. She was a lot like me because she drank a bottle for the longest time & when she was through she expected more immediately. She has a heart like my sistor, a laugh like her Dad, a talent for anything crafty, a fierce attitude on the basketball court & a fun disposition. She's stylish, sweet, loves her electronics, happy going places & loves to hang with her friends.
Happiest 14th on 1-2-13 my little Myrtle. She has always called me Mimi & I had to nickname her with an M name also, so I chose "Myrtle". We have been Mimi & Myrtle for probably 9 or 10 years.

Mimi will ALWAYS have your back, I will always love you like your Mommy does & make sure you are safe & happy. We love you to the moon, Oon!
XO! Mimi
