Fun at Oxford Lake

The day started off with the favorite breakfast choice @ Nana & Papa's...Pancakes & Bacon. :)But you know I can't figure out just how to make that picture first.
Then we headed to Oxford Lake to feed the ducks & fish & swing a little. These pictures of the ducks weren't zoomed in...they let us get that close! Look at that baby!
Logan stayed with Nana & Papa this week, we will get him in a couple days...but in the mean time I'm helping Kenlee get well...Josh & I were up with her pretty much all night last night with a croupy cough. After an adjustment today & some TLC, she is on the mend. I'm truely amazed with the blessing of chiropractic care. I wish I would have known this when Logan was growing up with croup...but now he gets a weekly adjustment & hasn't had to deal with illness like he did when he was little. Thank God for this!
Looking forward to a good weekend with friends & family & hoping everyone travels safe. Excited to celebrate the independence that we have!!

I planted this neat little thing I bought at Lowe's & my friend & I are trying to figure out what it is...any suggestions?
I guess I should have kept the little thing they stick down in the dirt. :)

Good to give your animals a hug....

Early this morning we realized Logan's fish, Finn, had died between last night & today. Just 2 weeks ago, his fire bellied toad, Tippy, had died, too. I wonder if Finn new his little frog neighbor in the apartment next door had died & he was lonely? So we made sure we went out & gave Max & Barkley some extra love today. I'm SO THANKFUL Kenlee isn't afraid of our two four legged friends anymore..she still doesn't LOVE Max when he stands up, but if he's sitting or laying, he's FABULOUS in her eyes. We've come a LONG way with this. I'm hoping it will get better & better because he really is a gentle giant.
And even though they have trashed the grass in the back yard, they are still my little lovies!

Anxiously awaiting my parents coming home from their LONNNNNG trip so I can talk to them & trying to beat this heat. Logan's loving an agenda for the summer. He's happy if we have something planned at least every other day. I remember needing a plan, too, when I was his age. We just played 4 square in our driveways in Michigan or "Kick the Can" in our front yards. Remember that, Kristy?!

I've enjoyed some good nights outside with good friends lately enjoying each others company & spending good days with our two little's & my hubby...how about you, how is your summer so far?

My mother-in-law kindly offered to watch our two little's while Josh & I had a date ALL DAY LONG! We spent a fun afternoon in the woods on a 4 wheeler enjoying the outdoors & it made me feel like we were 16 again! (Thank the Lord we are where we are now...)
Happy Birthday, Josh! I love you as much as I could ever dream of loving my husband! God made us for each other!!

Pool Pic's...

We have a little neighborhood pool & we took advantage of it today!
I turned 32 this morning ~ what better way to spend the day than in the sun with my family at the pool!? Auntie Kim joined Logan, Kenlee & I while Josh is working today & we had lots of fun. Tomorrow is my husband's birthday...I'm just a day older & wiser. :)
