25 days until Christmas!

I don't believe it. 25 days? And I have only bought 2 or 3 gifts! Oh no!
If it's Nerf or Wii hunting, this boy wants it. And a tv ~his tv is his Dad's from when he was in high school & the picture is starting to skip. It's hard to play a little Wii when you can't see it!
Little Miss Thang, she wants a monkey backpack, a beanbag, some zhu zhu pets that drive her parents crazy, and a Barbie airplane.

I want to keep it simple this year, a lot of gifts I'm giving will be homemade goodies. Just from the heart. Right to the stomach. :)
What about you? Do you have a big list?

A new tradition!

I have so many little posts that I want to write about over the past few days! We really had so much fun this holiday & I am hoping Christmas is even more fun! I love celebrating with friends ~ so Wednesday the kids & I packed up & headed to breakfast with the Lott family & we are going to make this a tradition...it was a great way to celebrate being out of school, and most of all, being thankful for our friends that are like family.
Kenlee has also conquered most potty challenges lately, so she got one big gift early because she is doing so good ~ good things deserve good rewards, right?! (See pictures below!)
I've also thrown in some pictures of Logan, Cousin Katie & Kenlee over the weekend that I didn't post earlier. Maybe no one at all will be reading this, but I just had to document how our kids have grown & how much fun we had.

Logan, Jackson, Allie & Miss Thing

Riding her "reward" to the car!!

Allie is so beautiful! Kenlee adores her & she is so good with Kenlee!
Katie, Logan & Kenlee in the cold @ Nana & Papa's!

My Uncle (AKA Skunkle) with Kenlee. He & our Aunt Peggy drove in from Indianapolis.

So now our tree is up, I'm decorating & today I'm trying out Josh's Grandfather's recipe of chicken & dressing. I want to master it before Christmas! It is smellin' good!!!

Have a great week~ Let the crazyness begin!

My sister, My best friend!

If I could count the times we laughed over the weekend, it would be over 1000. My sister is truely my best friend!

The saddest thing about Thanksgiving is having to leave family! We had such a great time @ my parent's house, I hated to leave! But, I know we will be together again in just a few short weeks for Christmas.
The kids had the best time, too! More pic's to come later! It was 74 degrees on Thursday, then COLD yesterday, like in the 40's! Brrrrr! But that is what we love about the south! I am so thankful we moved here in the 80's!

Thanksgiving full of family!

We've been on the road the past couple days doing what I always stress over, going from place to place, but I always end up having the best time! Wednesday night we went to my mother-in-law's & had a fun time & today we went to Alexander City to be with Josh's other Mom, Noval & her precious Dad & his wife. Noval's Dad married us almost 13 years ago & he is such an amazing man, I wish we could be around him daily. He cooks AMAZINGLY & has the biggest heart & prays the most heartwarming & just exactly what we need to hear prayers I've ever heard.
Needless to say, our hearts & bellies are full ... we are thankful.
For the sake of memories, I'm going to post pic's of our Thanksgiving & we will continue over the weekend with my family & I can't wait. Cousin Katie is here spending the night with us & all I hear is lots of laughing & having fun with the 3 kids & I love it! This Thanksgiving is nothing but love here in the Hudspeth house, and I hope it's that way for you, too!! HAPPY TURKEY DAY 2010!

 Logan & Juju
Judy made the best bread pudding & white chocolate sauce I've ever had.

Shaving chocolate (which he doesn't love!!) for the bread pudding!!

These pic's are from Noval's Dad's house...

 PawPaw Shaw & his grandkids.

Whhheeeee! Noval's cousin showed me how to use my camera better, so I took advantage of the action shots today!

Logan wanted to take this home!!
Duane & Noval ~ they are perfect for one another!
We were laughing because Noval was trying to give Josh a wedgy in this picture.  :)

A perfect Thanksgiving....thank you, God!

~ A party fit for a Princess ~

We had the most fun at the best birthday party for a little girl I have ever been to. I had some added bonuses, seeing two of my best friends from high school & danceline, being with my Mom, getting to see Madeline for the first time after seeing pictures of her for the past 3 years, watching Kenlee get all dressed up...it was such a high on life day for me! And I wasn't even the birthday girl!
My dear friend, Jessica, gave her little girl, Madeline, the princess party of the year! They got to get all dressed up, have their nails painted & makeup done, there was a real life princess there, & they even got to have a tea party! It was so precious & I have a million & 1 pic's to share. The boys golfed & ate mexican while we partied.
Some are small, some are large, but this tiny picture is a happy girl!
 The cold shoulder :)
The girl kneeling at the end of the table is the funniest friend I have ever laughed with. In high school we were inseperable - she hasn't changed at all, just now has a hubby & two precious girls. We still laugh together & I found out yesterday, no matter how much time goes by, you will always have a bond with special friends.
Kenlee looks like she just wants to go ahead & leave for prom in this picture, no more pic's, Mom.
 Bling, Bling!
The princess in yellow! She was a beautiful princess! Love my girl in blue! They were all princesses!
A little makeup by the princess!
Kenlee & the beautiful Madi, the BIRTHDAY GIRL! Oh, I wish we lived close because I adore her Mommy & I know these two would be best buddies!
 A little star struck :)
How do you like my lip gloss?
A book being read by the princess!

Little girls in all their glam.
Watching Madeline open her gift!

Jessica - thank you for having us. We had the best time & I loved that our Mom's got to see one another. You amaze me, daily!!! I loved seeing your Mom & Jason's Mom ~ they are both precious! I would love to live close to you. Love you, friend!!
