It's been a long weekend, between you, me & the blog world, Logan has two guys as coaches that are wearing me down as a Mom! They yell like I've never seen, send bible verses to us via email on Easter, then tell their own kids to "shut up" (I have it on tape, I was taping Logan up to bat & one of the coaches is screaming "Shut Up" in the background to his son - but I've heard him say it to others, not just his son....if he says it to mine, I will come UNGLUED), they have even scheduled practices most Sunday afternoons & since they had a bad game Thursday night, they said to bring a lot of fluids tonight, because it will be an extended practice - which, practice makes better, I realize that... We don't encourage Logan to quit, but I did ask him if he wants to continue through this season and he has told us he wanted to. They SCREAM, and I mean louder than I've ever seen anyone scream at kids. It really disturbs me. If Logan wants to play next spring, I will request him NOT be on these guy's team. It's just TOO much. I will be the first to admit, I'm having a
HARD time with all of this & my child being screamed at.
Thank you for letting me vent. I'm sure there will be more, so stay tuned. :) They have a game tomorrow, practice @ 7:30 on Tuesday & want the kids to go to a college game on Wednesday night which we will NOT be going to. I'm just a bit irritated, can you tell?
Now, on to better things....
My Dad is recovering, so Jill & Katie came up to see him this weekend. We didn't get to see them until today, but we made the most of it & loved every minute of seeing them.
Here are a couple pic's of Logan, Katie & Kenlee that I love...
Love these 3 so much.
So proud of my Biggy for taking this baseball so lightly & not stressing...
Kenlee was happy her Daddy didn't have to work on Saturday morning, and I caught her holding his finger like this as she was relaxing in his lap.
Kinda fuzzy, but I LOVE this picture.
I also love these texts between Katie & her Mom about seeing us today....
I LOVE being with my SISTOR & MYRTLE.
Josh has worked almost 70 hours the past few weeks. It's a seriously busy time in the concrete business....so I took the kiddies there to see him last week. I took lots of pic's & once I upload them, I will post about it. He took them for a ride while he waited on his driver's to get back from several loads. They had a great time!
Hope you have a wonderful week!
