Party Time!

Kenlee's Carousel party was a hit! I think all the "little's" had a great time & loved riding the carousel. Kenlee cried everytime we took her off. She got off the easiest for cake. She's like her Mother :)
I can't believe our girl is TWO!

Two years ago today....

It was 1:30 am..the 30th was the day I was supposed to be induced. The night of the 28th, we had a steak dinner, took Logan & our dog Max on a long walk...and then went to sleep. I got up to go to the bathroom & SQUIRT! My water broke (but just a little). I took my sugar to see what it was & called the Dr. She wasn't my regular Dr... but she was great. She said to go ahead & mosey on up to the hospital & since I wasn't having contractions, it would probably be a while. We called my parents, Josh's Mom...and met JuJu on the interstate at about 2:30 so she could get Logan & take him home. He decided he needed some Waffle House, so they went there & then went home. Josh was in panic mode, but for some reason I wasn't. When we got to Brookwood, we couldn't find an unlocked door to get in & I was feeling a little crampy. I changed into the beautiful gown & then it HIT ME! Miss Thing wanted OUT!

My parents & Juju got there right before she made her arrival @ 4:47 am. I was supposed to have IV antibiotics since I tested positive for Strep B, but didn't have a chance to get one. Our Dr. monitored Kenlee & cultured her blood, and thankfully she didn't have it.
Auntie Kim had come to our house to hang with Logan while his sister was being born.
May 29th will always hold a special place in our hearts & we are SOOOOO grateful to God for our girl! Happy Birthday, Kenlee Michele! Mom, Dad & Logan love you with our whole hearts.

Heavenly Beach....

I loved every minute of being @ my sister's house at the beach. Even though we can't sit still with an almost 2 year old, we made the most of our relaxing vacation.
Kenlee did NOT want to take any beach pictures, so I just snapped some when I had the opportunity. I wanted us to have one of those awesome beach shots, just the 4 of us, but...we will get there one day. One day she will love to sit still & take pictures, right? Hee!

Logan & Katie had the most fun together. He didn't want to leave, and she didn't want him to leave. They always play good together - I'm so glad about that.
So here's a few pictures of our trip. The stingray was right by us, he wouldn't go away, so we stuck to their pool so we wouldn't get stung. I had to add that picture for the sake of memories :)
Look at Kenlee's hair - it's getting so long & I would pay big money for mine to look like that! She isn't frizzy so far like her mother!!

End of the School Year!

The end of the baseball season, the end of 3rd grade for Logan & the end of playschool for Kenlee! But the BEGINNING of the summer & fun memories to make. My little girl will be 2 next week & my "almost a man" will be 9 in just a couple weeks. Where has the time gone? I rocked Kenlee last night & was in tears thinking of how fast Logan has grown up. I just pray he stays a good boy like he is & I pray Kenlee learns from her brother. He got in the car today after school & showed me a report card of all A's. I wasn't a straight A student, so I am so proud that he is.

Anywho...the truck is still giving us troubles after a new transmission. I guess we'll make a change soon. Logan figures whatever his Dad gets can be his first car/truck when he turns 16 :)

Kenlee is having a carousel birthday party soon. I will be sure to post pictures of that along with some beach pictures from this weekend!
I'm off to do a couple massages & finish packing. Happy Memorial Day to everyone! I hope you all make good memories of your own over the weekend!

SIFAT

Oh I love this place. I went in high school with my youth group...but Logan's GRC class got to go yesterday. This is an amazing experience that teaches missionaries to live in 3rd world countries. They really taught the kids that no matter where you live or what "things" you have...we are all the same, we all feel love, emotion, hurt, joy...I'm so happy that this class Logan is in gets to experience these neat places. Makes these kids step outside the box. Even though it's with public school, the missionaries at SIFAT were able to tell people about God & His work & how we need to be obedient to Him & serve others.

A Happy Mother's Day!!

Oh I loved this weekend! I got to be with Jill & Katie again & loved every minute of it.
I got to see my Mom & Dad yesterday & our kids slept in until 8:30!! What a treat!
I'm so thankful to God for all of the Mom's in my life. Especially my own! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY ~ METHER!!! (Jill & I always spell it that way) I love you!!

Logan made me a beautiful card...Kenlee made me a precious craft at school with her footprint on it & I'm just as happy as can be.

The last choir concert for 3rd grade!

"You Raise Me Up" was one of the songs...and don't you know, I just had tears flowing from my eyes. What a blessing it was to hear these words from my child. I love him so much!
Logan got to play an instrument for a couple songs & that was cool to watch ~ he did so well! One song the kids even broke out some kazoo's & played. This choir is just for the 3rd grade...I think they have quite a few singers! Here are a few snapshots from yesterday morning.
