Massaging Muscles!

I feel like with the hustle and bustle I hear everyone talk about right now... I need to promote a good bonding time with your kids or family in general. I know my two little loves always put their feet in my lap to rub or sit in front of me because they know my hands usually go to their shoulders :)
I want to encourage you to massage your family! Any essential oils you use, try mixing with olive or coconut oil first, then massage their back or feet. Citrus is very uplifting and encourages positivity, frankincense is healing, lavender is calming, Eucalyptus is excellent for upper respiratory.
And let me remind you, if you apply to the bottom of their feet....it gets in their central nervous system quickly and you can actually see their breathing get more relaxed and the forehead muscles relax.
Life really doesn't have to be all hustle and bustle.

I massaged a 5th grader last week that was out of school because they found a "virus" that she couldn't shake. She came to me 3 times for a 30 min massage last week with essential oils, I told her parents to give her at least 1/2 of her body weight in fluid ounces with water and/or coconut water (double the potassium than sports drinks), baths with epsom salt & rest. With lots of TLC and these sessions, when I saw her Friday...she was like a different child.
I am so thankful for the healing properties of massage & esssential oils.

Kenlee has had stuffy nose this weekend, so I have done a lot of massage & essential oil treatments on her spine, chest, and feet. She normally would have had full blown croup with this weather change....but with the diffuser and what I have been doing, she is so much better than I expected. I am also incorporating Standard Process Prosynbiotic (a great probiotic) in some organic applesauce.

She's a happy girl now. Have to be well for Trick or Treating!!

And Biggy has had a super fun weekend staying well & visiting Tannehill with friends yesterday for some early Halloween Trick or Treating. This family is moving to Africa next September for Mission work & I know he will miss his buds! They are twin boys that are the same age as Logan.
Here tehy were about 3 years ago! Time flies when you're having fun!

I am a busy woman these days!
I am slacking in the blogging department.
I will be better about this. I don't want to miss a thing or not be able to look back!

Biggy got a printer in his room to go with his computer. Serious business in the 8th grade. Here we come, high school.

 I attended Parenting Day at Kenlee's school. Such a joy to see her with her buddies.

 The boy she sits next to looks about 8 to me. He's just a tall boy. Very sweet, though :) He got very down on himself very quickly when having to draw a picture they thought of on demand...I helped him and was happy I was there to boost his positivity.

 I baked a 100% full of fat and bad things chicken pot pie. It was delightful and I would do it again tonight if I had the ingredients.

Tuesday!

I have read so many blogs this week of funky things going on in people's lives ~ an emotional shift. Last week was very hard on my body. Many people are experiencing pains & emotions. I feel it with you! It's going to ease up by next week I think. I have this weird gut feeling when things like this happen. I have clients texting me experiencing the same things I'm feeling! We are all in this together!

I am LOVING these colder mornings, though!
I love fall. I love January. I love cold winter months. I love being cozy at home with my family.

Here is what is happening this week at the Hudspeth home!
Finally got our diffuser! Acts as a humidifier as well! I also was impressed that when it runs out of water, it turns itself off! What a beautiful thing to someone leaving a fat curling iron on for about 26 hours the other day!

 Ugly feet. I know. BUT WHO CARES?!? I got my second pedi this year & it was SPLENDID.
I really love a pedicure.

 Brad joined our trick or treating adventures last year. Biggy was a pro golfer & Kenlee was a cat. Brad was just ancient.

They are out shopping with my mother-in-law right now. She offered to take them costume shopping so I could have a day to myself!! LOVE this idea!
I am catching up on essential oil stuff, listening to Fleetwood Mac Live & munching on celery with pnut butter. I cannot tell you how good this feels. I love to watch this concert with my hubs but he worked & then is planting food plots at his hunting land today. Watch out, Bambi. That's all I have to say....it's a trick!

My Mom's Bday is Monday! I'm putting together a basket for her this weekend! I love gathering all of her fav's!

I am so looking forward to celebrating holidays with my family this year!
