 Logan LOVES to fish, he had a lot of fun & I can tell it will be something he will want to do every time we are there!

 We were only there for about 24 hours so far, but it was HEAVENLY! And we had some visitors which made it extra fun!
Logan has had his physical for 6th grade! I can't believe it! School is starting soon. I told him to smile extra big for me @ the Dr's office & this is what he gave me! Such a funny guy!!
Thankful to God for a healthy boy & a healthy girl!

Fun with Friends!

These 3 boys had a great time yesterday/last night spending the night with us. They played Nerf outside for a few hours & while I cooked dinner, they had a couple computers going. Between the 3 of them, they know way more than I do about computers. :)

 Can you tell the two on the right (above) are twins? They are great guys!

 You know every now & then she had to be right by these 3 guys. :) She loves having company, even if it's for Biggy!

I can't believe school for Logan will be starting back soon. I have enjoyed him coming to work with me some, bowling, just spending time with him while Kenlee has been to MDO. Her school ended yesterday until the end of August, so I'll have some good time with my girl, as well!! I'll have to work, but I can be with her some of the time, too.

This has been at my work for over a year now. Did you know McDonald's washes their meat in clorox to preserve it? Yum Yum! It never molded & not one critter has tried to nibble! Think of this next time you SMILE wanting a McDonalds :)

Move over fish & sludge, here we come!

This is the new Hudspeth headquarters some weekends. Where our kids will fish, swim & play. Where our families will come have a turkey dog, pork chop & a beanie with us, where we will sip coffee on a cool morning from the swing, where we will have friends come visit & make new memories, where we will relax from my husband working 60 + hours per week. Honestly ~ I cannot wait to have people come visit us here, cook for friends & watch our kids run around & play.

I'm so happy Biggy is back!

He's a professional traveler now.
His sister is especially glad she can yell over to his room @ night again since he's home. She likes to pester Biggy until he is asleep. She asks him questions, tells him "Don't let the bug beats bite!" Then he tells her it's Bed Bugs, and she says "NO it's not, BIGGY!!" It's her way or the highway.

Biggy's Back!

We were sooo very happy to see Biggy yesterday! I loved hearing he, my Mom & my Dad all tell things about the trip. Biggy couldn't pick a favorite thing, he said he LOVED it all. LOTS of pictures to download, so we will work on that starting tomorrow. What an amazing trip they had. They were even @ the Space museum as the last shuttle was landing ~ how cool! He wore his AU hat a lot & my Dad said he got tons of HI five's  &  a special tour of Mike Rogers' office which was FULL of Auburn goodness. He will tell you ALL about it this week. 

 We all swam at the pool this afternoon with a couple friends & got burned like little lobsters. Even with 45 SPF. I have been lathering my whole family up all evening. Luckily, Josh & I got it the worst...the kids are little bronze beauties, I just still don't want to damage their delicate skin. Makes us 30 somethings realize how strong the sun in the South is (or anywhere for that matter) ~ and I don't need anymore crow's feet :) Logan cracked up when I showed him mine! NO botox for this Mom though! 

So happy to see our boy & hug him & see that smile!

Wicked & Lovin' it!

Biggy's havin' a BIG time!
They saw Wicked last night @ the Kennedy Center & said it was AMAZING! He got to take a cab which was cool! So much joy in his voice when I talk to him ~ makes me so happy.
Kenlee has been a card this week. She got a new pair of shoes yesterday & cried this morning because she said she was going to miss the shoes she wore yesterday - which makes me think she is missing her Biggy! HA! She has also woken up the past two nights in the middle of the night, which she hasn't done in probably a year, so I know her little body will be happy when her world gets back to our Hudspeth normal with all 4 of us here!!
But in the mean time, Biggy is livin' it up & he couldn't be happier!

Several texts today....

My most favorite text of the day was Biggy on the plane ~ then when they landed in DC, he sent me one saying "I LOVED IT!!!!!!!"
They are going to the Kennedy Center tonight to see a play via box seats! So a fun night for Biggy, Nana & Papa!
SO thankful my parents & our Biggy had a safe flight. I had a few meltdowns last night but Josh got me through them! HA!!!

~ We cracked up listening to this conversation tonight. And I did wash these clothes from yesterday, but as I folded clothes tonight, she put them back on. :) Pick my battles. If it's not Olivia or Hello Kitty, she doesn't think it's a fashion statement. Darn pig & cat.

These two never have any problems inventing something to play with. As much as Kenlee pesters Logan, she's always a good prop trying out a new invention :)
She is going to miss her Biggy while he is sight seeing & can't wait to see him over the weekend. He is SOOOO excited.
