Beautiful!

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend at the lake, rain & all...visited with friends, sat on the porch & listened to the relaxing rain & just soaked it all in. My niece, Katie, went to Homecoming this weekend, so we received beautiful pictures from my SISTOR of Katie....

I thought she was just born. I'm having that thought a lot lately about everyone! HA!
And my BEAUTIFUL SISTOR.

My friend Brittany & I went out for a while on Friday evening & these three ate with us.
Such little loves.
We have spent some time Pumpkin Painting....
Shooting all of the bad guys....

And being together in the most relaxing setting I could wish for.....

Life is GOOD!

Here, there & everywhere....

I've been a crazy Momma these past couple weeks, but today I took a little me time & helped my friend sell purses made by GiGi's (Grandmothers) from Swaziland ~ they are amazing bags! We had so much fun! I bought one, in which I will take a picture of soon to post, but these were all $25 & under & great little bags. A great cause & a great bag! Win/Win! There are some more left, if you like one, let me know & I can help you purchase one!

They are all handmade, the buttons out of wood & the lady that made each one (a lot of different women) actually signed the tag! My mom got a great bag & I got one, too. I am so excited to switch purses tonight. If it weren't for my sister's Christmas presents, I wouldn't have great purses, and it's always fun to get a new bag!
Biggy had a meeting at school this morning & I got to take this girl to breakfast! It was so much fun & she loved going before school. She was telling me what she thought she would do today in school....

I am missing the lake & all the summer fun. Hopefully we get to go back this weekend & soak it all in. I'm trying to fix two friends up over the weekend, so hopefully it will be a good meeting place for us to grill out :)
My precious friend, Kathryn, told me about this book & it is a wonderful read for all ... no matter what you are going through. Or even if you are at a good positive place, it's a great read. I met with her a couple weeks ago & she is the most positive person I know. What a blessing to be around. I want to be that to others.
Happy FRIDAY tomorrow! I'm off to bubble bath & a glass of vino! One of Josh's driver's gave him some organic grape wine to give to his lovely wife (Me) + (Cabernet) and I'm so excited to try!

Homecoming 2012!

Oh my goodness. Is it seriously time for Homecoming?
All of the sudden, my 12 year old got dressed nicely & turned into an 18 year old yesterday.
He had the time of his life at the dance, with friends, laughing, dancing, being happy...I remember the feeling of a fun dance like it was yesterday. I LOVED dancing with my friends & feeling free & happy at high school dances. Especially to the favorite songs we had. Way back in 1992-95. (Logan asked me the other day if my high school was still standing) :)

I love the way these little Iphone pictures turned out.
I could have taken a million. He was ready for Brad to get here though....
It was pre-game before going to scope out the LADIES! HA!
I love this picture below. They have the best time together.
You should have heard them in the car after the dance. It was hilarious.
But before they left, Kenlee had to get a snap shot with them....
On their way to the dance!
My precious friend, Brittany, did Kenlee's hair last week & I just LOVE the back. This child wakes up like this! Definitely did not get my frizzy hair.
But then she had to spice up her outfit....
And a good night was had by all!

Some of our favorites!

Biggy is getting ready for 7th grade Homecoming as we speak. Seriously? Wasn't he just born!? He's having some bud's spend the night & he is ready for them to arrive!
My precious friend, Brittany, styled his hair the other night & used Aveda Pure Formance Grooming Clay....

Yes. All I can say is it's the best smelling stuff you could put in a man's hair & I'm ordering some so he & Josh can use it & I can smell them all the time. HEAVENLY.

Now Miss Thang is dairy free & I've been trying to be Wheat free for her as well. I found these little brown rice snacks at Publix that are quite divine & they are also soy free. Bonus for us girls (and Boys)
....
I've been asked a more natural way to boost your immune system recently. I'm not one to give my kids the flu shot due to all of the junk in them. I've been going a little nuts on vegetables & trying to get their systems good & strong for the cold weather. I'm studying essential aromatherapy, and have learned some of the health benefits naturally of the essential oil, tea tree. I'm not talking about something you buy at Target, the TRUE form of essential oil.

Some of the valuable uses are for: rashes, insect bites, nail fungus, ringworm, head lice, bronchial congestion, arthritis, cold sores, acne, fatigue and useful for all infections. So often we hit the antibiotics quickly - and the benefits of this are there are NO contraindications! So next time your kids get bug bites or infections, try this! You can order on amazon.com ~ just make sure it is the TRUE oil.

And I'm sure I'll post tomorrow pictures of my HANDSOME boy that I can't believe is a 7th grader...but here he is after sweet Brittany did his hair the other night....

He's letting it grow-out some....just wait until pic's from tonight! Handsome boy!
He is going to be the best hubby one day. This sweet boy wanted to try ironing his pants for the dance....

Such a wonderful boy. Some girl is going to be a LUCKY wife one day!!

Where on earth have I been?

I've been running around like a crazy person. I'm missing blogging so much!
I've got lots of changes going on...this Kindergarten thing has been one of them, making a work change (still massaging though), trying to balance it all, having Bunco this month in a house I've neglected, just as everyone else has stuff going on, I've let it get the best of me.
Sometimes I feel like I have so many things to blog about, then other times, I am at a loss of words. But, the reason I started this blog was for a memory keepsake for my family...so here are a few pictures recently!

Miss Thang running to her Mommy for the carpool! Look at that hair bounce!
Biggy tired from so much going on at school, but he is always happy, even when tired :)
She never gets tired it seems! Only when I'm trying to wake her up in the morning. We are having a hard time getting happy & motivated for school in the morning! But when I pick her up, she is as happy as can be!
 Homework is DONE! Score!
While the boys were building shooting houses in the woods last Saturday, Kenlee & I went to her favorite Purple Onion for a lunch of grilled chicken & hummus. This was a happy girl.
I hosted Bunco this week & this was my favorite part....
First big girl school picture! Kindergarten! I can't believe it!
We met Nana & Papa last Sunday & Logan got a Homecoming Dance outfit. Here was Kenlee waiting on him, trying on clothes & looking at herself in the mirror. I'm in the background holding Butch, her stuffed German Shepherd that goes everywhere we go.. :)
I ordered our favorite Blue Oil from Aveda. I have missed this stuff so much & it is great for headaches if you need relief. PLUS, it smells DIVINE.

One of my favorite client's went to Paris this summer for a month with her husband & brought this bracelet back for me. I was so honored that she did that for me! She is like family & I am grateful for her friendship!
We are off for haircuts. We waited until after school started, instead of before. I tend to do things a little backwards.

A zip to the lake....

Yesterday, we cruised down to the lake for a little R & R. It is heavenly this time of year....cool, calm & so relaxing. Josh cut grass, but we had a little time to relax & visit with Nana & Papa.

 Here fishy fishy.

A little outdoor coloring.

With the trees & the breeze...I couldn't ask for a more relaxing time with my family.
 Josh Jr.
Then we came home to take this love to PetSmart for a bath & a nail shaving.
I took him with me to take the kids to school this morning & he just cried when they both got out of the car. I'm afraid I depressed him instead of made him happy to go for a ride. :/ I tried. Then we came home & went for a two mile walk that both of us needed this morning on this BEAUTIFUL September day. It's a great day because these two have a birthday!!!!
My SISTOR.....
And my BROTHOR.......

I am so proud of my two siblings. They have always shown unconditional love to me & I love them with my whole heart.
I'm needing another trip to my brother's with my sistor so we can talk British the whole way.
