A hodge podge of a post :)

I spent some time with my parents today & it was just what I needed :) I loved going to eat with them @ California Pizza Kitchen & then we went & got Kenlee from school, picked Biggy up, got them a snack & headed to Biggy's game. I loved every minute of it.
My parents are celebrating 48!!! years of marriage on October 10th. They got married 3 days after my Mom's 21st Birthday! I love their wedding album. I would love to post some pictures on here one day.
So after 48 years, my Mom picked the coolest gift. A BEAUTIFUL ring with chocolate diamonds. 2 of a girls' favorite things, chocolate & diamonds. It's set in rose gold, the chocolate diamonds are on the sides & around the big stone in the middle. This picture doesn't do it justice. Simply delicious. And amazing.

It is truely beautiful & demonstrates the true beauty of their love after 48 years. Nothing is perfect, but they do love each other so much. My parents have always enjoyed each others company & travelled together, danced together, shopped together...they are Bonnie & Mike, kind of like Goldie & Russell or George & Laura, Danny & Sandy or Mork & Mindy. Always go together, always have...always will. :) SO thankful.
This is a hodge podge post, so get ready for random things....
I took this on the way to school today. Someone had a glamorized magnet on their truck of a pooper scooper...it reads this....

"PET WASTE REMOVAL" - he's a pooper scooper!  What will they think of next?
I couldn't get any closer with my camera on my phone, but I just had to snap a shot of that.

Then I took Kenlee to Publix after school yesterday & she looked so cute to me in the hodge podge of an outfit she picked out. This was her checking out the lobsters swimming in the tank. I love that she has her own style, even if she tries to argue her way into the outfit SHE wants to wear to school. I appreciate her strong opinion & think she will be a girl to stick to her guns on all issues she is passionate about. :)

 The Hudspeth's (well, Nancy Hudspeth) has eaten all 3 of the carmel apples I bought only 3 days ago. I LOVE carmel apples. Publix has wonderful one's. I even brought one to Kenlee after school the other day (since Logan started Kindergarten I will always have a snack in the car for my kiddies when they get out of school) & she ate the nuts then gave the apple & carmel to me! WHAT?!? How can part child of mine not like a carmel apple? My son doesn't even eat or like chocolate!?!? WHAT?

Biggy played catcher in a great game tonight. He scored twice, caught some great balls, made some outs & was POOPED by the time the game was over. Nana & Papa had a great time watching, as well.
A good night was had by all watching this handsome boy!

Biggy doesn't have too much longer to go with his braces! Yesterday he chose a bright blue & I thought he looked ready to cheer Auburn on .....

We have a ballgame coming this week that Nana & Papa are gonna come "catch" to watch this catcher of ours....

So we are looking forward to that visit!

Kenlee is majorly into writing things these days. On the way to school she usually corrects me & tells me sometimes I don't write my "B's" right. Part of me wonders if she'll be a teacher because she reads to her stuffed animals lately...with her legs crossed like she is 27.  This night last week, she was cozy watching something with me in our room while the boys were in the living room watching some sort of man vs. wild tv or Lizard Lick Towing...you know, the important shows in life.

We need new sheets for our King size bed...I have mixmatched lately because the others are so worn out. Any suggestions for good sheets?

Fall Ball FUN!

Biggy's lovin' some fall ball. He's playing catcher, which is really cool because his Dad & Papa were both catchers. He has been hitting pretty good, too! I love watching him....he's a kind catcher too, he hands everyone their bat as they head back to the dug out. Makes me proud :)

I wonder if they would notice this Mom out there warming up with them? It would be great exercise!
