Awards Ceremony!

Logan had an awards ceremony before school got out & I was so happy to have been able to take some pictures! I am proud of this hard working boy!

He got an academic award & was the only boy to get a 7th grade choir award. I'm so glad he loves choir! He obviously doesn't take after me in academics or choir! And his Dad makes up his own lyrics to every song, so I don't know where he gets this talent!
SO very proud of you, Logan. Your caring heart, smart mind, easy going & content self constantly makes me in awe of you! I love you!!
I sent him a text the other day that said how much I loved him & how proud I am of him. He replied "Thank you, is everything ok?" HA! That goes to show I need to tell him more!
13 is approaching next week! I can't believe it!

What a great day! I have to document these wonderful memories!
JuJu took them to the Birmingham Zoo yesterday while I worked!

 We made a gluten/dairy free cake with wondeful icing of ENJOY chocolate chips (soy, dairy & nut free, although our girl loves nuts) and coconut oil. It was surprisingly good & Papa has even requested this cake for his Bday next week!

 We spent the morning at the park dining on a breakfast of Chick Fil A & playing with sweet friends!

 Got some fan mail, in the form of snail mail, texts, twitter & Instagram messages!

 Ate a lovely dinner at Olive Garden. Kenlee's choice!

 And got lots of Love from her Biggy. After all, he's been the best big brother for six years now!

Last day of school!

This was the first day...

And here is the last day of 7th & Kindergarten!

We've come a long way, my babies!

Last week of Kindergarten & 7th Grade!

I hope I remember to take a picture of our two loves tomorrow before the last day of school!
Does anyone else feel like this year has flown by? But then I think, we just celebrated Christmas with parties & class activities! This year has been challenging for Kenlee ~ not academically, but, she has really missed her Pre-K school & her friends there. This second 1/2 of school, she did make some really sweet friends, one in particular, who shares somewhat of the same name :) Here is the dynamic duo, Kenlee & Kensley!

I will make sure these two friends see each other throughout the summer! Kensley's Mom & I made a pact yesterday that we will make that happen!
And Biggy did so great at his end of year concert!

I will put on YouTube how great they sounded. He boogied down in one song & I will post that on my blog. I am beyond proud of my son!

And to top of the last week of school, we've had lots of good blooms.

I love to watch flowers bloom.
Reminds me of all of the good things in this life experience!

May is zooming through! I am so ready for my two little loves to be able to sleep in! It will be so wonderful!
We've been busy little bee's this week....
Kenlee (on the right) had Field Day & I feel so happy that I got to go enjoy some of watching her have fun before I went to work!

 I've been juicing up a storm! I love carrots, spinach, pears, & apples this week. I even just bought ginger to add to some of them!

 I am officially a YOUNG LIVING representative. I feel so fortunate to incorporate something into my massage practice that I can totally sell to someone that I love, see the benefits, and something they can use daily & watch as the benefits change their lives. Essential oils are a gift from God if you ask me!

 The kids have been playing games today & just resting. Biggy has felt kind of yucky today. He had a fever about 4 am this morning. Our living room is proof I have not cleaned today. Just enjoyed my family!

 He is ready to feel better & looks forward to a great summer with friends like this one!

 I've gotten my husband hooked on Starbucks Refreshers! That is so funny to me! Country boy Hudspeth loves the heck out of some Starbucks! I love him!

 Here is a little flyer I have on how to incorporate essentials if you are suffering with allergies. I put some of each in our cool mist humidifier that I run all the time & it really makes the air fresh. All three of these oils have antibacterial properties, so it also prevents mold in our humidifier! Score!

 We've been cleaning out & putting stuff on Ebay today.
We've outgrown this little lifejacket!

 Biggy wants to sell this DSi he says for some new XBox games. I also reminded him he has a birthday coming up, so he may get double the games now!

 And I sure have been enjoying my 23 miles to the gallon compared to 14. LOVING my car! I know about 3 or 4 people that have traded cars this week. Everyone is wanting better gas mileage I think!
